Meet Samuel Akere, one for the future

In the face of searching for that needed players that will lighten up Super Eagles' midfield in the nearest future it is time for those concern to beam their search light on one player that fits the bill.


His name is Samuel Akere.

17 year old midfielder is one of the players that need to be monitored and nurtured for the future. 


Akere is a player of G12 Football Academy in Lagos State. 


Akere, an attacking midfielder with a crafty left foot that he uses to pierce opponents' defense is the one to be monitored and well nurtured as he has the potentials needed to be one of the greatest players for Nigeria. 


The 17 year old player was part of Nigeria's Golden Eaglets team that participated in the U17 Junior West African Championship held in Lome, Togo this year. 


Akere was one of star performers for Vandrezzer FC in the NNL last season as he ensured the Lagos based team beat the drop in their first ever outing in the country's second tier division. 


The young midfielder has since returned to his parent club, the G12 Football Club in Lagos and looking forward to another bigger opportunities as new season beckons.
