Engr. Muhammed Ibrahim motivates Confluence Queens ahead of 2025 Sheroes Cup Preseason

As part of efforts to boost morale and inspire excellence, Engr. Muhammed Ibrahim, a passionate supporter of Confluence Queens Football Club, has motivated the team with both words of encouragement and financial support ahead of the 2025 Sheroes Cup Preseason Tournament.


Engr. Muhammed commended the management, coaches, and players for their commitment and hard work as they prepare for the new football season. 

He reminded the players that dedication, discipline, and teamwork remain the keys to success, urging them to approach the Sheroes Cup with determination and pride.


In addition to his motivational remarks, Engr. Muhammed provided a cash donation to the team as a gesture of appreciation and support, aimed at encouraging the players to put in their best efforts in the preseason competition.


He noted that Confluence Queens have continued to represent Kogi State with pride and assured them of his continuous backing. 


“You are not just footballers; you are ambassadors of our dear state. Always play with passion and unity, knowing that the whole state stands behind you,” he said.


Responding on behalf of the team, the Chairman, Hon. Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, appreciated Engr. Muhammed for his kind gesture and encouragement. 


He assured him that the girls would give their very best in the Sheroes Cup and the upcoming NWFL season, promising to make both the club and the state proud.


With renewed motivation and financial support, Confluence Queens are set to take on the 2025 Sheroes Cup with high spirits and determination to deliver outstanding performances.

Confluence Queens chairman Hon. Abdulmalik Isah Dolly optimistic ahead of new NWFL season

 

As Confluence Queens resume preparations for the new Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season, the club’s chairman, Hon. Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, has expressed optimism and confidence in the team’s prospects for the coming campaign.


Speaking during a training session at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, Hon. Dolly commended the dedication of the players and technical crew, urging them to remain focused and united. He reaffirmed management’s commitment to ensuring a successful season, noting that “all hands are on deck to make the forthcoming season better and to win titles, as we remain optimistic.”


In the same development, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe, who was also present at the training session, charged the players to be good ambassadors of Kogi State, reminding them that they serve as role models representing the state’s colours across the country.


Hon. Anyebe further assured the players of the government’s continuous commitment to improving their welfare packages, emphasizing that His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo, remains ever ready to support and encourage the dreams of the girl child through sports development and empowerment initiatives.


With such support from both management and government, Confluence Queens look set to approach the new NWFL season with renewed confidence and determination.

NWFL: Confluence Queens reinstate Tosin Ojo as Team Manager

 


In a renewed effort to strengthen the administrative structure of Confluence Queens Football Club, the management has reinstated Mrs. Tosin Ojo as the Team Manager ahead of the new Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season.


The reinstatement was formally announced at the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe, in Lokoja.


While addressing Mrs. Ojo and other officials of the club, Hon. Anyebe congratulated her on her return and charged her, alongside the entire management and technical crew, to work together in unity and dedication to make Kogi State proud in the forthcoming season.


He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment, under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo, to improving the welfare of players and staff while encouraging the dreams and aspirations of the girl child through sports.



Also present at the event was the Chairman of Confluence Queens, Hon. Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, who expressed confidence that Mrs. Ojo’s reinstatement would further strengthen the team’s operations and enhance their performance in the new campaign.


In her response, Mrs. Tosin Ojo appreciated both the Honourable Commissioner, Hon. Monday Anyebe, and the Club Chairman, Hon. Abdulmalik Isah Dolly, for the confidence reposed in her and for giving her another opportunity to lead the Kogi women’s team. She assured them of her total commitment, hard work, and loyalty, promising not to disappoint the trust and confidence placed in her.


With renewed support from the state government and management, optimism is high as Confluence Queens prepare to make a strong statement in the upcoming NWFL season.
