Osun Apex League: Ajiroba Wants Momentum Sustained As Second Round Returns


The second stanza of the ongoing Osun Apex League finally kicks off on Wednesday after a mandatory mid-season break. 



Thirty six numbers of games were played in first stanza and over 100 goals scored. The first stanza which is laced with several talking points had Hammola FC and Fehinty FC topping in their respective groups.




Significantly, the tourney is so blessed and hots up with prolific frontmen, four players across four teams are having their eyes set on the top scorer's award. The said players are tied on 4 goals each.



Arising from the stakeholders meeting to review the happenings in the first round, Osun FA supremo lauded the participating teams and want more sportsmanship spirit to be sustained.



"The league is living to its hype, we are well pleased with the happenings surrounding the contest week in week out. 



"We still want the participating teams to keep respecting the rule book, I want everyone to keep showing sportsmanship spirit at all time. We should follow right channels to lodge our complaints and never to take laws into our hands.



"Any teams found guilty or trying to bring the game into disrepute will not be spared. Each team should go back and orientate its component, we should all be proud of what we are doing at this stage because hard work will be rewarded at the end of the season," Elder Adelowo Adewumi who stood in for Otunba Rasaq lshola Mustapha concluded.




The top two teams in each group would eventually qualify for Super 4 to determine the actual league winner.




Osun Apex League is packaged and financed by Osun FA under the distinguished sports financier Alhaji Rasaq lshola Mustapha RIM. The Grand Prize of 120, 000 and 100, 000 have been earmarked for the eventual winner and runner’s up. There are countless exciting gifts also for participating teams and individual awards are also in the offing. The second stanza will kick start again by Wednesday, 20th October 2021.

Over 100 goals registered at Osun Apex League as Orolu, Hammola, HMK remain unbeaten


Terrific goals, brilliant moments, ecstatic situations, sensational reactions trailed the first round duels of the much publicized Osun Apex League. The Match Day 7 proceedings concluded the league in its first round. Olansile FC took their rival from Ede, Timi Giants into cleaner, the match which is decided at Osogbo Township Stadium ended 3-1 in favor of Omo Mummy Boys. 


Elsewhere, Orolu FC ended undefeated status of Nationwide League One new entrant Fehinty FC while AUD All Stars shared spoils with their guest, Hadji Hammed FC.


Interestingly, high flying Hammola FC concluded the first round with 4-0 mauling of their guest Akoment FC in Ede, while Victory Police were 4-1 better off their host Os NSCDC. H.M.K also continues its fine form with 2-1 defeat of Okuku based side, Otin Babes FC. 


A total number of 101 goals were scored from 36 matches played. Hammola FC, H.M.K FC and Orolu LG FC are yet to lose any game thereby taking their blistering forms into second round.


Hammola FC and H.M.K are leading group A while Fehinty FC and Orolu LG FC are group B leaders. The top two teams in each group would eventually qualify for Super 4 to determine the actual league winner.

Olansile, AUD back in action, Victory Police, Akoment FC Seek redemption as Osun Apex League zooms to Week 5



Olansile FC returns after a week out due to (bye) on week four fixtures. Omo Mummy Boys will hope to continue its fine form after mauling Hadji Hammed in their last fixture.


AUD All Stars will hope to feed on Olansile's scalp when they clash at the mainbowl of Osogbo Township Stadium. AUD were battered at home last weekend by Timi Giants all the way from Ede. 


Akoment and Victory Police are also rearing to go after a setback in week four.

However, Fehinty FC and Hammola FC are maintaining their fine form, topping their respective groups, both are yet to taste defeat in the league.


Meanwhile, Os NSCDC and Hadji Hammed are without victory same with Ayedire Utd. They  will be hoping to redeem their respective images.

Osun Apex League: Olansile, Akoment, Fehinty FC show class As NSCDC, Ayedire, Hadji Hammed FC yet to taste victory


It was a big win for Olansile FC who roasted pointless Hadji Hammed FC (5-0) in week 3 of the Osun Apex League. Olaoluwa Pelumi registered the first hat trick in the league to push Omo Mummy Boys to second spot in Group B. 



Fehinty FC also shines as Ido Osun based side walloped AUD All Stars 2-0 in their fortress. Odugbemi Naheem maintained his scoring instinct as his well fascinating opener sent Fehinty FC to top on the log. David O. later increased the tally towards the death.




Ayedire Utd took fight to Orolu as the encounter ended goalless, same way H. M K. and Hammola shared spoils. Qudus opened scoring for H. M. K FC in the first half while Hammola's bulky striker Abbas secured away point for his side at the death in the evening when nature spoke aggressively thereby making Hammola FC to maintain its undefeated status. 





Hammola FC continues to dominate Group A while Victory Police bounced back and occupy second on the log. Os NSCDC and Hadji Hammed are without a point so far. Azeez (HMK FC), Akande Ibraheem ( Olansile FC) and Olaoluwa Pelumi (Olansile FC) are leading the scorers sheet with 3 goals each.

Osun Apex League: Orolu FC on song as Hammola FC, Victory Police, H.M.K maintain brilliant start


As Osun Apex League enters week two, It was a scintillating performances from table toppers following their winning start into the much publicized league.



Orolu FC dazzles on the road and had a slim victory as Akeem Gbadegesin Boys thwarted the host Timi Giants FC with a lone goal courtesy of Seun Dauda. 



Hammola lnt'l took some ingenious advantage off their non league playing guest at the mainbowl of Osogbo Township Stadium as Afolabi Joseph solitary effort failed to yield any fortune for Otin Babes. 




'Lee Bombers' as they are fondly called under the tutelage of Coach Hoppers ran riots scoring three goals through bulky goal poacher Alabi Tunji who grabbed a brace before an hour mark as Habeeb put the icing on the cake of Ido Osun Landlord at the death. 



H. M. K. FC and Nationwide League One Division One new boys Fehinty FC secured home win. Naheem Odugbemi's brilliant runs and a well crafted loop over Hadji Hammed FC goal keeper secure the maximum points for Fehinty FC in Ido Osun. Victory Police too stun Akoment FC with two goals to one. It was Akoment winger Kehinde Dosumu who drew first blood before Police fought back to secure vital home win through Malik and Seyi.




Elsewhere, Ayedire Utd. proved stubborn for Shile Boys as the encounter ended 2 all. Olanshile forward Ibrahim grabbing the first brace of the league.

Hammola FC goes digital, launches website


Hammola Int'l FC is a professional Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One outfit based in State of Osun.


Nicknamed ‘LeeBombers', the club which debuts in 2020/2021 league season is driven by the vision of the president to give back to humanity by providing platforms for talented grassroots players to showcase their God's given potentials and nurture them to stardom. 

Widely hailed for its distinctive football artistry that facilitates a business model, the new digital platform launched by the club  focused on fans engagement, digital archives, merchandising, players profile, fans membership, match highlights and competitions schedule.


The link www.hammolafc.com is designed for mobile and PC use and will be undergoing constant improvements from time to time, even feedback would be prioritized, because of the portal's stability and flexibility.


According to club General Manager, Coach Adediran AbdulRasheed Adeleke, " the new link would ensure positive outlets for juicy contents with our unusual activities having fans in mind.

Osun Apex League Gets September 4 Kickoff Date

 

 

The much publicized maiden edition of Osun Apex Football League have been scheduled to kick start in first week of September.


With thirteen (13) teams divided into two groups, the top two teams in each group would be qualified for Super 4 to determine the eventual winner.


In his remark, the state of Osun FA supremo Otunba Rasaq Ishola Mustapha RIM., who declared open the fixtures proceedings remarked;


"We want to acknowledge the doggedness of the participants of this year's 'Apex League'. The league is aimed at preparing and exposing business minded teams for greater exploits in a way that will benefit the participating teams economically.

We have so much in stock for football to thrive in the state.


"Despite the pandemic and inadequacies of resources, the board is up and doing with football matters in the state. 


"I therefore enjoin the club officials to make the league attractive, through upright behaviors. The rule book given to each team should be digested thoroughly. There won't be rooms for misbehaving in whatsoever means. Some reputable agents have been scheduled to monitor our proceedings." Hon. Sulaimon Adio who is the vice chairman explained.
