FOSLA Academy which had earlier played 2-2 with the representative of Kaduna state, Barewa College Zaria, went ahead to beat Government Secondary School Yelwa, representing Nasarawa State by three goals to two. The Nasarawa team had earlier defeated their Kaduna counterpart by a lone goal. The FCT representative topped the zone with four points, and will now join other zonal qualifiers for the quarter finals holding in Ijebu ode from May 21st.
In the match against Nasarawa State, the FOSLA boys opened scoring in the tenth minute when Dauda Jibril lashed on a cross that was deflected into the net by the opponent defender. 10 minutes later, Solomon Abraham was hagged down in the vital area, and the referee did not hestitate in awarding a penalty which was beautifully tucked in by Solomon Abraham.
