Jos Appeal Court Orders non-tampering with subject of LMC Appeal

The Court of Appeal, Jos Division which sat on Monday has directed that there should be no attempt to tamper with the subject matter of the appeal file by the League Management Company (LMC) against the orders of Justice I.I. Kunda of the Plateau State High Court, Jos. This is even as the Inspector General of Police on Monday increased Police presence at the premises of the LMC to protect the staff and its activities.

Giwa FC Appeals NPFL Expulsion
Giwa FC has appealed its expulsion from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) by the League Management Company (LMC) for failure to honour three matches cumulatively in one season which is in violation of Rule B13.28 of the NPFL Rules and Framework.

The Nigeria Football Federation has swiftly moved to file an appeal, a motion to vacate the order and a motion for a stay-of-execution against the judgement of the Jos High Court, which on Friday decided to re-list a case brought by Ambassador Chris Giwa against the validly –elected NFF administration of Amaju Melvin Pinnick.
