Kwara Utd tells Technical Crew to get 7 points from next 9

Kwara Utd tells Technical Crew to get 7 points from next 9
The management of Kwara United FC of Ilorin, have given its technical
crew a three match ultimatum to shape up or be sanctions.
The general manager of the club, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma, told
journalists in Ilorin on Tuesday told that the Tunde Abdulrahman led
crew must pick 7 points from a possible 9 in its next three games or
they will be shown the exits way.

The matches picked for them are away to Bayelsa United on Sunday, June
28, home to Enyimba Int'l FC on July 1 and another away game against
FC Taraba on July 5.
He said the decision was arrived after a meeting with the technical
crew late Monday evening during a review of the 1-1 draw against Lobi
Stars of Makurdi in Ilorin on Sunday in a Match Day 13 encounter of
the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Maigidansanma added that the management will only be ready to work
with a team of officials and players that will justify the huge
investment on the team and not those that will only be collecting
salaries without any justification for it.
The Kwara United manager maintained that the target at the beginning
of the season was to see his team play in the continent at the end of
the current season and that the management will not settle for
anything less.
He told reporters that the 1-1 draw against Lobi was unacceptable to
him and other management team because there was no reason for that to
happen.
"If we cannot pick point or points on the road, we must not drop at home too"
"The competition in the league this season is high and every serious
team must take advantage of that because there is fair officiating
everywhere these days, so we must utilise that"
"We are struggling to keep the team moving and the technical crew must
help us compliment our stress to keep them happy"
"Henceforth, there won't be room for costly mistakes again, if teams
can come to Ilorin and take points I must be able to do same too
anywhere" Maigidansanma said.
Meanwhile, the Kwara United manager was full of praises for Nigerian
referees describing them as one of the best in Africa.
He could not hide his joy for the good work the League Management
Company (LMC), is doing to sanitise and the beautiful innovations it
has brought to the league this time.
"Many people may not appreciate the LMC good work now until our teams
are doing well on the continent"
"From the way things are going, genuine champions will emerge at the
end of the season and that will raise our profile on the continent"
"I must commend the Malam Shehu Diko LMC led board for their good work
and I want to urge them to maintain the tempo beyond now"
Maigidansanma added.
Maigidansanma also confirmed that the management will also meet the
players soon to seek to know who among them is ready to work for the
progress of the team.
