Samuel Amusan: Talented Nigerian midfielder joins Pyramids FC from Lagos based academy


Egyptian side, Pyramids FC have added Nigerian sensation, Samuel Amusan to their youth team on a three-year deal. 


Born 10th July, 2005, Amusan started playing on the streets of Lagos, before joining Bayine Sports Academy  for further development.


A versatile player, Amusan can play in both attacking and defensive midfield roles.



He is technically gifted, a good  passer of the ball and possesses excellent shooting ability. 


While at Bayine Sports, director of the academy, James Adebayo  took him on trials to Pyramids and the Egyptian club were impressed by his performance and decided to sign the mercurial midfielder. 


Samuel Amusan will be hoping to rise from the youth team to the main team in the course of his stay at the Cairo-based club.



Founded in 2018, Pyramids have been a force to reckon with - finishing as runners up in the Egyptian Premier League in back-to-back seasons - as well as finishing second in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2020.


Pyramids play their home matches at the 30 June Stadium in New Cairo, Egypt.
