Edun Quadri: the exquisite young player who is set for great things

Edun Quadri is one of Nigeria brightest young talents, who will soon be a key member of the country's national teams for many years to come.

The young midfielder has shown what he will become at a bigger stage when he featured for Nigeria's U17 World Cup in 2019. 

Quadri showed a desire to win the ball, while he also dictate the play with excellent passing abilities. 

Quadri, a product of G12 Football Club in Lagos now need that transitional progression from youth ranks to the main national team.

The 18 year old will be a useful link between the defence and the attack, while he is also a brilliant set piece taker.

If the would be handlers of Nigeria's U20 team will want to achieve positives results, Quadri need to be included in the fold for his craft and intelligence in midfield.

At such a young age, he has a fantastic sense of ball usage and it makes you wonder why he is not playing in top flight league yet. 

If Quadri can keep up this prolific form, then I have no doubt that he will eventually get his dream move to a bigger club and will leave his mark in years to come. 

We don’t know what will happen but one thing is for certain is that Quadri has a big future and only he can shape it.

Meet Samuel Akere, one for the future

In the face of searching for that needed players that will lighten up Super Eagles' midfield in the nearest future it is time for those concern to beam their search light on one player that fits the bill.

His name is Samuel Akere.

17 year old midfielder is one of the players that need to be monitored and nurtured for the future. 

Akere is a player of G12 Football Academy in Lagos State. 

Akere, an attacking midfielder with a crafty left foot that he uses to pierce opponents' defense is the one to be monitored and well nurtured as he has the potentials needed to be one of the greatest players for Nigeria. 

The 17 year old player was part of Nigeria's Golden Eaglets team that participated in the U17 Junior West African Championship held in Lome, Togo this year. 

Akere was one of star performers for Vandrezzer FC in the NNL last season as he ensured the Lagos based team beat the drop in their first ever outing in the country's second tier division. 

The young midfielder has since returned to his parent club, the G12 Football Club in Lagos and looking forward to another bigger opportunities as new season beckons.
