ABS FC no longer a feeder team - Seni Saraki

The Chairman of Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC, Seni Saraki has said that the club will henceforth, no longer serve as a feeder team to other teams in the Nigerian league, but operate like a standard outfit that promotes the ideals of the league.


Seni Saraki, while addressing players and officials of the club during his visit to its Secretariat said that the club will be fully rebranded to meet the target of producing stars for the international market, gain promotion to the Premier League and also fight for honours at the continental level..
He called on the players and all stakeholders to see the team as their own, urging the players to use their talents effectively to promote the trade and also fall in line with the new initiative.
He promised that the welfare of the players would be given priority to achieve the ambition of the Club.
The Chairman visited both ABS FC Secretariat and Kwara Football Academy, as a way of re-strengthening the existing relationship between ABS FC and Kwara Football Academy.
While receiving Seni Saraki, the General Manager of ABS FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka congratulated him on the appointment, described it as a boost to the Club, adding that the players are committed to the club.
He commended the players and officials of the club for their commitment and sacrifice.
The State Director of Sports, Coach Tunde Kazeem commended the Senate President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki for touching the lives of youths with the establishment of the Club.
The General Manager of Kwara United FC, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanmo charged the management of the Club to be proactive in transforming the club.
Speaking on behalf of the players, the Captain of the team, Bolaji Abdulkadir pledged their commitment and support to the team. 
At the Kwara Football Academy, Seni Saraki and his team were received by the Administrative Officer, Perpetua Clement, who explained the mode of operation at the institution that combines football training and academics, and also took him round the premises and all the facilities.
