Fatai Osho confidents Remo Stars will beat the drop


Remo Stars Football Club Technical Adviser, Osho Fatai has indicated that the battle to escape relegation in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, has just started with a 2-0 win over Gombe United at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.

Goals from Ochowechi Salefu and Ekene Awazie in the early minutes secured maximum points for the Sky Blue Stars in one of Match Day 22 game in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Speaking after the match, Osho says "the battle has just started, we believe so much that we are far better than where we are on the table and that was what we kept telling ourselves going into the game."

"We worked so hard to defeat Gombe United but we mustn't take it away from the visitors too. Our hard work payed today and we can keep getting better by game."

"We got 2 early goals today, it happens and we could have even gotten goals in the last minute but the zeal in the players actually payed off. We have been doing well in our away matches without winning but we actually must start winning to keep compensating ourselves."

"We opened up the midfield because we created more threats from the sides today, we usually play from the midfield but decided to exploit the sides."

"We have started with the self believe, we have more of psychological problem because we are playing far better than the results we are getting, I keep telling the boys that we can do it and we have done it and we have just started." Osho assured
