Nigeria medal hopeful at the Rio 2016, Odunayo Adekuoroye strolled to the semi finals of the Pro Wrestling League without lifting a finger against Ukraine’s Tatyana Kit.
Mumbai Garudu continued their unbeaten run as they ended the bout by 4-3 with 32-24 points against Haryana Hammers.

2014 commonwealth gold medalist, Adekuoroye on her way to the semi finals defeated Ukrainian’s Liliya Horishna, Babita Kumari, Lalita Sherawat and Priyanka Phogat.
Speaking with Nigeria Wrestling Federation female coach,Purity Akuh said Adekuoroye will now concentrate on how to perfect new moves she have learnt adding that Adekuoroye will not only participate in the Olympics but win a medal for Nigeria.
He recalled that he had previously solicited for international tournament to make Nigeria Wrestlers exposed.
