After failing to participate at the 2015 Copa Brazil Wrestling Tournament, Nigeria champion freestyle 57kg, Welson Ebikewenimo said he is ready to serve his fatherland anytime he is called upon.
It will be recalled that the team could not make it due to the non availability of funds.
Ebikewenimo who won a bronze at the 11th All Africa Games held in Brazzaville, Congo said he is passionate about wrestling adding that he will go extra length for the nation.
He noted that as Nigeria will be participating at the Rio 2016 qualifiers next year in Alexandra, Egypt he has embarked on personal training in order to meet up with Olympic standards.
“I have always dream of participating at the Olympics and I will make sure this chance does not pass me by” said Ebikewenimo.
The Africa Champion praised 2014 commonwealth gold medalist for her great display at the ongoing Pro Wrestling League.
