NPFL: MFM's Ifeanyi, Onuwa Desire Double over Nasarawa



Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos midfielders, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi and Onuwa Chukwuka Emmanuel have told mountaintopfc.comthat the Lagos-based team will restart the top-flight on a winning note against Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia. 
MFM FC will host the Solid Miners in Wednesday’s match day 21 tie of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) coming up at the Agege Township Stadium. 
The first leg of this fixture saw MFM FC claiming the maximum three points with a 2-1 victory over the Lafia-based team at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi. ‎
Ex-junior international, Ifeanyi said his side has vowed to raise the bar against the Lafia-based team as they aim for victory.
“We want to start the second stanza of the league on a winning note and we need to continue our great performance. We are gunning for the maximum three points against Nasarawa United FC to start with,” said the former Flying Eagles star to mountaintopfc.com.
Meanwhile, Onuwa has predicted a tough game but believes his team will emerge victorious at the of the day.
He said “ We shocked Nasarawa United FC in the first leg so expectedly, this game will be a difficult one because they will be coming for a revenge but we will defeat them because the three points at stake are very important to us to give our fans something to cheer as we begin the second round of the league,” he stated. 
The Olukoya Boys claimed the 10th spot in the top-flight with 27 points at the end of first stanza.
