ABS FC Berates Gateway United

The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, has berated it's counterparts from Ogun state over the show of same they exhibited before, during and after the match day 14 Nigeria National League (NNL), encounter on Sunday in Ilorin.
It would be recalled that Gateway United FC refused to start the match day 14 sighting security reasons.
After the mandatory 30-minutes wait, centre referee, Hamza Garba from Kano sounded his whistle, confirming a walk over for ABS.
Walk over formalities means ABS Ilorin FC, whose players were on the pitch for the entire 30 minutes before the centre referee sounded his whistle will now enjoy 3 goals and 3 points.
The management in a statement signed by its Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, said Gateway United FC were accorded maximum respect according to the laws of the game.
But the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Premier League Club Owners, explained that it was shocking to see Gateway officials behaved the way they did at the pre-match meeting earlier in the day.

Chukwuemeka said he was most disappointed by the action of Gateway General Manager, Tunji Onatolu, who said at the pre-match meeting he wants to start fomenting trouble right from there.
"We have put adequate security in place to ensure our visitors' safety.
"We did not deny anyone access to the stadium, we only asked that people be properly identified before they gain access into the stadium.
"We provided security as agreed at the pre-match meeting.
"I am surprised that in 2016, some administrators still don't know what to do if you are concerned about an issue during a match.
"Gateway came with a plan to disrupt the match by all means but because we have agreed to make them feel at home, the plan failed hence the reason I think they refused to play" Chukwuemeka said.
The ABS Director of Football, congratulated the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and people of the state for the promotion, saying it is a victory for them.
He added that the club will not disappoint them in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), next season.
Chukwuemeka promised that the club will continue to be law abiding at all times.
ABS has now joined Gombe United, Katsina United and Remo Stars in the NPFL.
