Crown to Appeal NFF Disciplinary Committee Verdict



The management Of Crown Football Club of Ogbomosho was on Monday slammed by the Nigeria Football Federation Disciplinary Committee, having thrown out the protest of the Ajilete Warriors against FC Ifeanyi Uba in the Semi final clash of 2016 Federation Cup.

Rising from its sitting on Monday the Committee ruled that the 1-2 results stands and consequently awarded the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira against the petitioner. 

The Committee equally referred the Match Commissioner and referees to the various disciplinary committees for unprofessional conduct during the match. 
         

In a swift reaction, Crown management condemned the judgment and promised to explore all legal and reasonable mechanism within football reach to press home for justice and fairness. 

Crown in the earlier judgment sought that victory be given to continue her fairy tale in the Tournament or a replay among other prayers.  
  

"We're not going to relent until the burning flame flares up to become a rainbow. If it takes only Crown FC to stand up to injustice, decay, un- professionalism and favoritism we shall do that for we know posterity would someday judge each person and personality accordingly."

"We are prepared to make an academic history from this very case so much that generations yet unborn would sometimes make it a discourse for academic purpose and pursuit. We are not fighting because the judgement of the Disciplinary Committee did Not favour us, rather for perpetual assault on Nigerian football," a top club official said.
