'Lagos City Marathon, a blessing to Special Athletes' - Sefiu Ojeleye


One of the titles hopeful of Saturday's second edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon in the Wheel Chair Male Category, Sefiu Ojeleye is hopeful of claiming the prize money of One million naira.
The Durban based athlete came third in the maiden edition of the wheel chair male category, spoke with Mudashiru Shittu earlier today during the press conference put the together by the organizer of the marathon .

“Every one of us has trained, the race is for everybody to win but I see myself claiming the prize”

The 2013 runners up in Johannesburg at the World Champion qualifiers poured encomium on the organizer of the race.

 “Access Bank Lagos City Marathon is the Best thing to happen to Special Athletes. They have tried a lot for the inclusion of special people .“

The 2017 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon kicks off at the Admiralty Lekki Link bridge for the Wheel Chair category while the able bodies’ athletes  starts at the front of the National Stadium, Surulere at 7am .
