Civil Service Screening: Okehi lawmaker assures genuine workers of clear passage


Bothered with the disturbing trend that  enveloped the screening of civil servant in kogi state, the member representing Okehi in the kogi state house of Assembly honorable sanni Kekere abdulkareem has assured his constituent that no genuine staff will be disengage from the state work force.
Honourable Kekere gave the assurance on Monday at the Government House in Lokoja while addressing over 200 civil servants from Okehi local government who appear before the screening and appeal committee as part of the ongoing process embark upon by the current administration to rid the state from ghost workers.
The lawmaker maintained that, the intention of Alhaji Yahaya bello was not to inflicts pains on kogites, but to liberate the state from the scourge of sharp practices which has bedeviled it's development since kogi state was created in 1991.
Warning that civil servants who present fake certificate, falsified document, impersonation will be handed over to law enforcement agency to face the full wrath of the law, honourable Kekere admonished his constituent to be patient with the present administration adding that Okehi local government will soon appreciate governor Yahaya Bello in his efforts to cleans the civil service from corrupt officials.
According to him,  " Governor Yahaya Bello has a good intention to transform kogi state from the shackles of poverty,  under development and manhandling of public funds."
"As I speak to you, the governor sister was also affected in this screening exercise. This shows how detribalize, transparent, and committed he is working to transform the kogi state civil service".
"He has assured me  that he will not marginalize any sector of the state,  but rather provide even development to all as the prompts payment of workers salaries remains the top priorities of his administration".
