A one day sports clinic for players, club administrators and referees has been organized by Kogi State Referees Council to promote the game of football in the state"
The seminar which is being planned in conjunction with the Kogi State Football Association and a sports firm, Quima Consult Limited will come up on Tuesday at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja by 1pm.
Four guest speakers are expected to deliver papers on various topic which is targeted at raising the mentality of Football stakeholders and partners.
FIFA certified Sports Manager, Shogo Shodunnke will be delivering a paper on the "Leadership Role in Modern Football Administration".
Mr Suraju Yusuf from the Federal University, Lokoja, will also be delivering a paper on the topic "Benefit of Food Supplement and Diet for Sports Men and Women, while Mr Ariola Cheche will lecture on "Effective Conduct of Supporters Club".
The "New Amendments on the Rules of the Game" will be taken by Mr Aminu, a FIFA referee instructor from Abuja.
Over 10 footballs clubs including Kogi United, Confluence Queens, FC Lokoja, TIYU Football Academy, FMC FC as well as clubs from neighboring cities are expected to attend the seminar.
