NPFL Match Preview: Enyimba Int'l vs MFM FC

Seven-time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba International FC will host Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC in one of the Matchday 13 fixtures of the Nigerian top league which will be decided at the UJ Esuene Stadium on Saturday (today) in Calabar.

The hosts are coming into this game on the back of a 3-1 away defeat to Kano Pillars in their last league outing while the visitors eked out the maximum points with a 1-0 triumph over Remo Stars in their last league match played at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium in Lagos.

Having played out a goalless draw in their previous meetings in the league last season both teams will be looking forward to putting an end to their unfashionable outing hence an outright victory will be their topmost priority as they go into this encounter.

With 11 games played so far in the league, the Peoples Elephant currently sit in 14th place on the NPFL table with 14 points. The Olukoya Boys are occupying the 5th spot on the log with 19 points from 10 matches. A win for Fidelis Ilechukwu's men will brighten their chances of finishing the first stanza of the league in a better position.
