Relegated Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC defender, Ernest Governor is one the targets of former champions, Enyimba International as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2017/18 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
Enyimba finished third behind MFM and Plateau United to return to continental football after missing out last season. They won the CAF Champions League back to back in 2003 and 2004, the only Nigerian side to have won the top prize.
The Aba side has lodged a transfer request with the NPFL FIFA Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS) for the player and his team mate, Mohammed Aman Mohammed.
Another transfer target of the People's Elephant is Rangers International’s Chinedu Udeagha. The club has already unveiled Katsina United’s captain, Nasiru Sani.
