Deputy Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Alh Ahmed Mohammed Ketso has commended the laudable programs initiated by the Niger State Football Association under the covers of Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh since he assumed office.
Ahmedfresh.com was live at the government house where Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh with his FA members delivered the official trophy for the first edition of Niger State Deputy Governor's U21 Peace and Unity Cup tourney.
After receiving the trophy from the State's FA chairman, the Deputy Governor His Excellency Alh Ahmed Mohammed was elated because such event would be happening for the first time in Niger State.
"Recall, I was present at the Governor's Cup final in Mokwa sometimes this year, seeing what Niger State Football Association is doing under the leadership of Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, I must confess that himself and the members are doing a great job," he said to AhmedFresh.com.
Ahmedfresh.com further reports that the Deputy Governor has reassured the Association of maximum supports after meeting with the state Governor, Alhaji Sani Bello.
"I have met with the Governor because this government understand the importance of what you are doing for the Power State by keeping the kids, youths away from crimes with good programs inside your coffers.
"The supports the Governor and myself would give this tournament will shock you all beyond imagination. We will use this opportunity to make positive impact across all local governments," he assured.
Meanwhile, the organizers has proposed 17th of November, 2017 for the maiden edition of the Niger State Deputy Governor's U21 Peace and Unity tournament.
The tournament will hold in mokwa, and it would cut across the 25 local governments of the Power State.
