Inside CHAN 2018: We are ready to beat Libya today - Okpotu

Ahead of their group stage match against Libya today in the ongoing African Nations Championship, CHAN, Super Eagles' B team striker Anthony okpotu is full of confidence that his team would give their all as they get set to take on the North African side in Tangier, Morocco.

The super eagles and lobi stars forward okpotu said this after the team's last training session ahead of today's encounter in Tangier.

Okpotu said "we have put aside what happened in our first group match against Rwanda not just that but also fully prepared for today's match against Libya and we want to assure Nigerians that we are not here to add up with the numbers of qualified teams but to make our marks in this prestigious Championship," he explained.

Kano Pillars' defender, Stephen Eze also bear his minds ahead of the important game today.

"We are very committed to this very game having failed to get the needed result against Rwanda in our first group match at this competition however Libyans are not a push over side but I believed we have perfected our strategies to the level of development and putting up credible performance today which would enable us to make progress to the next phase of the Chan Nations cup championship Here in Morocco," Eze assured.

The Super Eagles Chan team would be blathering out today against the table topper Libya of Group C where eagles are drawn alongside Rwanda, Equatorial Guinea and today's make or break match comes up 4:30pm local time Tangier, Morocco while it would be 5:30pm local time In Nigeria.
