NPFL Preview: MFM FC ready to quench Tornadoes with fire

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club will kick off their campaign in the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium in one of the spectacular fixtures of Week 1 of the Nigerian topflight.

The Coach Fedelis Ilechukwu led team will host Niger Tornadoes this afternoon (4pm) in an encounter that promises to be highly entertaining for both teams fans and supporters, with the homers hoping to amass the full points.

Having had remarkable pre-season events where the Olukoya Boys finished as runners up at the Gold Cup and the South West Pre-season tournament respectively, they are expected to come all out for the much needed victory, although it's not going to be a walk in the park for the youthful team.

The corresponding fixture last season ended in a 2-0 victory for MFM FC with goals from Tornadoes defender Abiodun Adebayo (own goal) and Stephen Odey making the difference.
