NPFL: Tornadoes Ready to Close Tourists Attraction for Wikki



Niger Tornadoes FC, Minna are set to take on league leaders, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi in match day 27 of the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) at the Confluence Stadium, LokojaSunday.
The head of technical crew of the Minna based-club Coach Abubakar Bala has disclosed the readiness of the players to win the tie ahead admitting the strong opposition they would be faced with against the league leaders. 

"The boys are ready and are aware of the task ahead, because the Bauchi-based club are in their best form at the moment and will like to remain on the summit of the league table.

"We know what to expect on Sunday but am very confident we will take all the maximum points at the end of 90 minutes at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja," Bala said. 

The Coach added that since the return of the second stanzela  of the league, Tornadoes has changed their approach to the game and has been playing enterprising football.

He commended the support that the Minna based side has been receiving from the Lokoja football loving followers which he described as the secret that has kept their 100 % record in all their home matches.

However the coach said that he has told his boys not to waste any of the chances that come their way, urging his players to bury all chances that come their way and regretted the missed opportunities that have CE their ways to pick ponts on the road.

He enjoined the people of Lokoja to come out en-mass and cheer Tornadoes to victory.
Meanwhile, all the players are available for selection except for Gabriel Wassa who possibly may miss the tie as he is in Abuja camp for NPFL All-Stars LaLiga tour schedule for next month.

It could be be recalled that Tornadoes open scoring in the Bauchi as early as 3rd minute of the game in Bauchi against Wikki Tourists but cheaply conceded two cheap goals that gave the home side theirvictory, Tornadoes maybe set to avenge their defeat in the reverse fixture on Sunday.
