NNL: Kwara United Claims Referee Assistance in Dreams' Defeat



 Dream International FC of Makurdi have referees to thank for their Week 11 Nigeria National League match victory over Kwara United FC today at the Aper Aku stafium in Makurdi.
Dankano Abdullahi from Kogi state and his compatriots, Mohammed Alhaji and Maikudi Abdullahi played the twelfth player for Dream International FC, who were awarded two penalties, one in each half. He also reduced Kwara United to 10 men in the game.

The first penalty, awarded in the 42nd minute, was stopped by Ismaila Shagari, who despite the situation of play, had a good day.

Defender Obadaki Halilu was sent off five minutes after interval. Another penalty was later awarded to Dream International FC which, despite all the opportunities given them by the officiating officials, found it difficult to break Kwara United FC.

The controversial spot kick was converted by Dream International FC goalkeeper, Obioma Sway.

With the win, Dream Interbarional FC now have 21 points, and on top of the Group A2 table ahead of their visit to Adamawa United next week. Kwara United FC with 20 points will host Gombe United FC at the same time, in Ilorin.
