Perfect Home Coming as Club Owners Scribe Empower Community Club with Sports Kits



It was indeed a home coming for the Executive ‎secretary of the Club owners Association Mr Alloy Chukwuemeka as he donated sports kits, Match balls and a hundred thousand naira cash to his community owned football club Ehime Mbano United FC on Monday in Imo state south east Nigeria.

Chukwuemeka who was earlier  received by the Transitional chairman of Ehime Mbano local Government Hon. Chike Orjiako ‎in his office was accompanied by the vice chairman of Imo state football Association Chief Emma Ochiagha, General Manager of Heartand FC Owerri Mr Oscar Keke, Former member of the League Management company Barr. Dike, General Coordinator of Heartland FC Nze Tonnex Chukwu, secretary of Imo state FA and host of others.

Receiving Chuwuemeka in his office, the TC chairman Hon. Orjiakor said he was delighted to received one of the home boys who have shown great passion and commitment to sport development across the country ‎and beyond.

He said his government since inception has taken a bold step at revitalizing sports in the local government as a way of encouraging and engaging the youths meaningfully and  to tap in their talents.

According to him, his government has boosted the Ehime Mbano Utd FC to participate in several ‎championships in the state with a view to making them a full fledged professional side in the nearest future, as well as upgrading the Ehime Mbano Mini stadium to a standard edifice that could host major tournaments.

Also speaking at the event, the Vice chairman of Imo FA Chief Emma Ochiagha praised theTC chairman for his passion to develop the youths through sports and urged other local governments areas  in the state to emulate him.

Mr Oscar Keke of Heartland FC said he was overwhelmed with the commitment so far shown by TC chairman in upgrading the facilities and raising the football team and urged him to continue, even as he supported chukwuemeka's donation with additional 10 balls and twenty thousand naira cash.
 

Responding, Mr Alloy Chukwuemeka ‎who doubles as the Director of football at ABS ilorin FC said he was happy when he was told that his local government has a sport loving chairman who had supported the Ehime Mbano utd  FC as well as upgrading the Mini stadium, hence he decided to come home to supports him and the club.

He charged the players and officials of the club to be more committed as he assured them of regular supports and encouragement to excel, stressing that the TC chairman had created an enabling environment for sports to strive in the local governmnent, calling on all well meaning citizens of the local governmment to supports the team.

The visitor later presented ABS FC branded  ‎jersies to the TC chairman, Imo FA boss and the General Manager of Heartland FC, before he finally presented two sets of jersies , Balls and a cash of 100k to the Ehime Mbano united FC.
