Eid-el Fitr: Club Owners Greet NFF, LMC, Stakeholders

As Muslims in Nigeria join other counterparts‎ across the World to observe the Eid-El-Fitr celebration to mark the end of the Ramadan Fast, the Association of Nigeria Premier League Club Chairmen and Managers (Club Owners) have sent a goodwill message to All football stakeholders, most especially the  Muslim faithfuls.

Club Owners in a statement jointly signed by the Ag. Chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the Ag. Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka felicitate with all the players, Management, staff, coaches of all the Clubs,SWAN, Referees,  Fans and supporters, the Nigeria‎ Football Federation and the League Management company, as well as all the other relevant stakeholders in football and sports generally on this special occasion. 

The Association specifically expressed delight with the positive turn around of the Domestic ‎league in Nigeria since this season which had attracted commendations  from across the World and from millions of Nigeria soccer followers, just they sought for the cooperation of all the stakeholders in the system to remain committed inorder to sustain the trend.

Club Owners enjoined all Muslims and non Muslims alike to maximize the advantages derived from the Holy month of Ramadan to live in peace as one united country as sports and football in particular remains a Unifying factor in Nigeria as well as a strong tool to curb youths restiveness, insecurity and unemployment.

The Association enjoined the new administration to look towards football as a vehicle to drive it's promised social and economic change, especially now that millions of Nigerians  are embracing the Nigeria domestic League.

The Club Owners also expressed‎ hope that with the composition of the  New National Assembly which comprised of some key sports enthusiasts and  personalities, sports friendly legislations would be enacted to further boost the system to excel.
