EID-EL-FITRI: Gov Wada Felicitates With Kogites





The Kogi State Governor Captain IDRIS WADA has congratulate the Muslims on the completion of the fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan.


He felicitates with them as they celebrate the Eidul-Fitri festival. He says that Muslims should take the blessings of the month beyond the month of Ramadan.

Captain Wada reiterated that the lessons of the month includes but not limited to building self-control, self-restraint, self-education, self-evaluation, and sacrifice. 

"These virtues he says are required for peaceful living with every member of the society. These are also required for building a strong, vibrant and reliant economy," he said.

Fasting in the month, he reiterates is essentially for Muslims to imbibe righteousness and thereby striving to please God by performing acts which positively affect the welfare of others and enhancing all acts of worship. 


He calls on the Muslims to intensify their support for the needy even after the completion of the fasting. He also encourages the well-to-do members of the society to invest their wealth in economic activities where the needy and jobless can be employed.

 Governor Wada solicited the support of Kogi people to give him second term mandate at the forthcoming general election which will help him to develop the State and to consolidates on the existing work he has put in place. 


He promised to take staff welfare as priorities just as he equally solicited support of Kogi State indegenes towards the actualization of his dreams in the state.
