ABS FC Commends Kwara United FC, Obuh for Support




The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC has commended Kwara United Football Club for their show of solidarity during their opening Nigeria National League (NNL) match against Crown FC of Ogbomosho, decided at the Main-Bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex on Monday.
They also commended the Technical Adviser of the team, Coach John Sam Obuh for initiating a new friendly and relationship platform between the two teams, an atmosphere they said, has never happened before now.

The management members of Kwara United FC, the technical crew and all the players were on hand to support ABS Ilorin FC in the crucial encounter which they won by a lone goal.

Ibrahim Abdullahi scored the only goal of the match in the 51st minute, when he roofed a rebound past the Crown FC goalkeeper.
 

The Director of Football for ABS Ilorin FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka, while commending Kwara United for the gesture, said that his team will reciprocate the gesture, and also sustain the new wave of relationship, for the betterment of the two clubs.

Also at the stadium to support ABS Ilorin FC on Monday are the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Pharmacist Kale Ayo Nuhu, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Elder Ayo Samuel and the Director of Sports, Mallam Tunde Kazeem.

The two teams are campaigning in the NNL, with Kwara United FC playing in Group A2, while ABS Ilorin FC is playing in Group B2.

Kwara United had earlier beaten Adamawa United 2-0 in their first match of the season on Sunday.
