FCT FA Rejects NFF Appointments into League Boards

The Board of the FCT Football Association has disassociated itself from the recent appointments made by the NFF into the Boards of the various League bodies.

In a statement in Abuja, the Chairman of the FCT Football Association Alhaji Musa Saeed Talle said the appointments is not acceptable by all the football stakeholders in the Capital city, and against all natural justice and fair play.

According to Alhaji Talle "I want to state  categerically that all football stakeholders in the Federal Capital Territory did not accept all appointments made which is against all tenets of the existing NFF statutes.

The statutes of the Federation provides that membership of the League Boards should be by election and not appointment, and we at the FCT FA cannot accept any illegality that is meant to satisfy some myopic and parochial interest.

We want to categorically that we are not part of this appointment, and have directed all our stakeholders to reject whatever appointment given to them in the League bodies".

Alhaji Talle frowned seriously at the relegation of the former Chairman of the Nigerian Women Football League Chief (Mrs) Dilichukwu Onyedinma to an Independent Vice Chairman of the body, saying that that is not acceptable and a serious injustice to all moral justice.
