Nigeria's Multi Media Sports Journalists have felicitated with the Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC), Mallam Shehu Dikko on his award as The SUN Sports Personality of The Year 2016.
Dikko was on Monday named by the leading publishing house as the Sports Personality of The Year 2016.
In an official press statement, the Multi Media Journalists said that the award is a testimony of the Dikko's dedication, patriotism and selflessness to the round leather game.
"Alhaji Shehu Dikko greatly deserves this award and the Multi Media Journalists are happy to congratulate him."
"We are very happy for him. He is a young and dynamic person with positive intentions for Nigerian football and we pray that God will continue to be with him and guide his actions.

Dikko was honoured for his remarkable achievements on the domestic scene, his efforts to build enduring governance systems and entrench the culture of excellence in the top flight.
The visionary administrator earned a first degree in quantity surveying before a master's degree in cost engineering, a postgraduate degree in management and a Master of Business Administration. He became Chairman of the LMC 23 months ago.
