MATCHROOM, which has worked for top brands in the country brings innovative ideas into the Gold Cup.

“Our task is to raise the profile of the Gold Cup. It has since become the preferred brand by top clubs in the league.

“The fact that no fewer than 300 professional players from 10 clubs in the country will converge on Ijebu-Ode for the Gold Cup makes it the preferred destination not only for clubs, but also journalists and scouts”, Aikhoje revealed in a statement.

Two-time African champions as well as seven-time Nigerian champions, Enyimba and four-time Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars, lead the pack.

2017 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners, Wikki Tourists, Lobi Stars, Sunshine Stars, newly promoted Remo Stars, 2016 Federation Cup giant-killers, Crown, MFM, Niger Tornadoes and FC Ebedei, complete the teams for the Gold Cup.
