Prince Oladimeji Commends NFF, Kwara Govt on NNL Appointment



Kwara United Chairman, Prince Ladi Thompson Oladimeji has said that he will use the opportunity of his appointment as a Board member of the Nigeria national League to contribute his quota to the development of the league in the nation.

The Nigeria Football Federation on Monday gave its ‘no objection’ to the composition of the new Boards for the Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria Women Football League and the Nigeria Nationwide League One.

Prince Oladimeji was named as one of the Directors of the Board of the NNL.

Other members are Chidi Ofor Okenwa (Independent Chairman); Magaji Abdulkadir Kapaka (Independent Vice Chairman); Sunday Longbap (Independent Director); Dodo Isah (Director); Farouk Yarma (Director); Tunji Onatolu (Director); Ifeanyi Onyibe (Director); Amos Nworie (Director) and Bukola Olopade (CEO).

Prince Oladimeji said that appointment was in recognition of his contributions to the development of football, adding that it’s a big challenge for him and the others to improve on what is already on ground.

He commended the Nigeria Football Federation and the other stakeholders for giving him the chance.

Thenff.com learnt that the Boards were reconstituted to make them more independent and more virile, and towards more robust and aggressive marketing.

Prince Oladimeji also commended the state government for its support always.
