Fixtures for the 2016 Gold Cup Pre-Seaon Soccer Tournament have been released by the organizers on Tuesday.
In the fixtures and grouping released, defending champions Kano Pillars will have to strife hard against Sunshine Stars, Niger Tornadoes, MFM FC and FC Ebedei in Group A ad they bid to defend the title they won last year.
In the other group, 2016 Federation Cup revelation, Crown FC of Ogbomoso will be slugging it out with two time CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba Int'l FC, newly promoted NPFL side, Remo Stars, Supreme Court FC of Abuja, and Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi.
Opening day fixtures that will kick off on Friday, 25th of November will two games played simultaneously. Kano Pillars plays FC Ebedei at the main bowl of Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode by 4pm while MFM FC will also do battle with Sunshine Stars at the same time on Pitch B of the same stadium.
Top two teams from each group will proceed to the semi-finals while the final will be decided on December 4 at the Lekam Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
